Stephanie Garber’s “A Curse for True Love” marks the triumphant conclusion to the Once Upon A Broken Heart trilogy, delivering a mesmerizing blend of fantasy, romance, and suspense, it really rounds up the books. I loved this book and the entire series. A Curse for True Love was really a good ending for the book series. It fell flat in some places compared to the other books and the ending was a bit lukewarm tbh but I loved it.

A Curse for True Love Review
The novel begins with the enchanting Evangeline Fox, now living in a legendary castle with her handsome prince, seemingly enjoying her happy ending However, as the title suggests, true love comes at a cost, and Evangeline is blissfully unaware of the sacrifices she has made for her happily ever after. The narrative unfolds with a perfect balance of mystery, emotion, and magical elements, keeping readers hooked from the very first page.
I like how we were finally able to put all the pieces together as well as the ending of the story.
This story was just amazing from start to finish, not only in this book but throughout the entire trilogy. The world-building was mind-blowing, the writing was spectacular—pure magic, like a dream—and it kept me flipping pages non-stop.
My final Theory on why Jacks eats the apples,
There has been a saying that if you want to know how a man kisses watch him eat an apple. So my theory is Jacks is always eating an apple to replace kissing since at the end of book 3 he makes a comment about not needing them anymore, He’s traded his apple-a-day for a kiss-a-day, and he’s living his best life. Who needs apples when you’ve got true love, right?
