Book Review: Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

By Deborah October 30, 2021

⭐

Rating: 1 out of 5.

And Maybe someday I will read all of the Colleen Hoover books.

Haha, I doubt it because I think I have read one too many of her books. I listened to Maybe Someday on a busy Monday as I executed all my tasks and carried out my daily activities and I struggled with the book.

Many times I contemplated not finishing it but I remembered I said I was going to try to read as many of her books as I could and this came highly recommended. Reading this, I did quick research while trying to understand what was happening in the book, I realised it was a book series well I am not reading them.

I have noticed a common trend in her books I am beginning to not like

It Ends With Us- Rylee: PTSD

Verity – Lowen: Anxiety and Social disorder

November 9- Fallow: Burn Victim

Maybe Someday – Ridge: Deafness, Maggie: Cystic fibrosis

Ugly Love: Trauma …. I think, and loss

What else am I going to find in her other books? Sighs

One more book and I am out. I guess you have to know when to tap out. Maybe I really had legitimate reasons to dislike the Never Never series when I read it then.

Well, I guess I should also let you know that this book has an album recorded by Peter Girfffin another thing I found out when I was trying so hard was to not drop the book.

Maybe someday was a pretty basic book and I didn’t like it. I tried so hard to like her books but I can’t help but just pick on the not-so-little things in the books. I haven’t fully given up as I think she is a great author so let’s see how this goes.
