It Starts With Us: Colleen Hoover Announces It Ends With Us Sequel

By Deborah February 14, 2022

Before It Ends with Us, it started with Atlas. Colleen Hoover tells fan favorite Atlas’s side of the story and shares what comes next in this long-anticipated sequel to the “glorious and touching” (USA TODAY) #1 New York Times bestseller It Ends with Us. To be released on the 18th of October 2022.

With the announcement of the sequel, Colleen Hoover says:

“My readers have given me this amazing career, and it seems only right to thank them with the sequel to It Ends with Us they’ve been asking for, I’m honored to pick up where we left off with Lily and Atlas’s story, and can’t wait to share this journey with my friends at Atria Books.”

She said this a while ago

“I’ll never write anything that would redeem Ryle. It would be an insult to all the women who don’t get that with their abusive partners. I’d love to dive into Lily and Atlas’s world, but I can’t do that without involving Ryle somehow. So I will probably never write a sequel. I love that people want one, but the impact part one had on a lot of women is more important to me than writing a sequel and possibly sending the wrong message with a continuation. I’ve outlined a few potential scenarios, but I think this is a book that doesn’t need a follow-up. Sadly.”

I am looking forward to the new installation, I wasn’t expecting it but I’m so excited for the release and I hope it is everything we expect and much more.
